Classic Fleur du Lac Videos
Henry Kaiser Sr. was a prolific videographer.  The samples below give an indication of the types of videos that will be available to readers via QR (quick response) codes in the text of the book or through links to our members-only website.  The actual full-length videos that will be posted typically run for 5 to 20 minutes each and are in both color and black & white with sound.

Henry Kaiser Sr. loved boating, and especially boat racing.  This video clip gives a glimpse of the boating videos you will find on the website accompanying our book.  The videos on our website can be accessed either by the QR codes or website links in the book text.

This vintage video clip features a Kaiser Frazer commercial from the mid 1950's, a beautiful panoramic view of the Fleur du Lac grounds in spring with Bess Kaiser enjoying the view, and a sound track consisting of a musical composition and performance by Henry Kaiser Jr.

When Ale Chester became the new Mrs. Kaiser in 1951, activities at Fleur du Lac became much more vigorous.  Of course, Henry tried to keep pace with Ale's generally much younger circle of friends.  This video clip features Henry serving in a volleyball game on the lawn near Glocca Mora, and is just a segment of a much longer video of what summer life was like at Fleur du Lac in the early 1950's.  Also shown on the video are Edgar Kaiser, his wife and children, and Dr. Sidney Garfield, co-founder of Kaiser Permanente.
